Now that most of you know about two Nexus devices getting unveiled today by the search giant Google, we still have a huge chunk of leaks coming to us till the last minute. Out of the two devices, Huawei Nexus 6P is on a costlier side. Today we have a complete detail of specification, pricing and initial availability of the device already prior to the official launch.
The details of lesser priced LG Nexus 5X have been a bit disappointing with just 2GB of RAM and non-metallic body. But on the other hand, Huawei made Nexus device seems to be the best of Nexus device till now with metal build and flagship worthy specs.
Specification of Huawei Nexus 6P
Well, the leaks and rumors about the Nexus 6P had started even before we heard of Nexus 5X. What is seen from those leaks are, the first ever Nexus device from Chinese brand Huawei is going to be killer of the device. But what is disappointing to see is, this device will run on a controversial Snapdragon 810 SoC which is plagued with heating issue.
Here is a spec sheet of the Nexus 6P,
|Display||5.7 inch AMOLED with Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 resolution)|
|Processor||Snapdragon 810 v2.1|
|Rear Camera||12.3MP with f/2.0 aperture, sensor design uses 1.55 μM pixels|
|Front Camera||8MP, sensor design uses 1.4 μM pixels|
|Expandable Storage||Yes (not verified)|
|SIM||Single Nano SIM|
|Operating System||Android v6 Marshmallow|
|Ports||Micro USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack|

Going by the specs of the Huawei Nexus 6P, this can surely be a flagship killer with 2K display, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner and a huge 3450mAh battery. However, SD810 and metal body might make it feel hotter on hands than expected. Even the Sony Xperia Z5 is struggling this with a glass rear panel. Can Android Marshmallow along the Google’s supervision help it overcome the issue?
What is more interesting about the device is, it will be available in three storage options 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Guess what, it does come with a microSD card slot for the memory expansion as per the FCC document. Yes, the Nexus 6P has quick charging.
