Huawei P9 is indeed a best in the class device we have come across lately. In terms of the specifications, it packs a beautiful 5.2-inch IPS-NEO LCD display with full HD resolution. It’s not only bright but packs a 424 pixels-per-inch. The device runs on a powerful HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor, an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.5GHz, Mali-T880MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The P9 comes with a 32GB inbuilt storage along with expandable storage up to 256GB. There is a moderate 3000mAh battery sits underneath with fast charging capability. The device sports a fingerprint scanner on the back and Type-C port on the bottom. It supports dual-SIM (Nano size), NFC, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth v4.2. It runs on Emotion UI 4.1 built atop the Android marshmallow operating system.

The Huawei P9 comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. Both of it sports a 12-megapixel sensor. One with an RGB sensor specifically for color reproduction and the other purely for capturing black and white detail. Thus allowing us to capture best-in-class photos under low light when compared to others. The camera app also comes with numerous filters. It can also take some best monochrome pictures.
The rear dual-sensors works individually while focusing along with the laser auto-focus. However, the device lacks Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calling.

The Huawei P9 falls in a high-end premium smartphone segment in terms of the quality and specifications. Thus, it does carry a hefty price tag. It is priced at Rs. 39,999 and sold exclusively via Flipkart. The device comes in Titanium Gray, Mystic Silver, and Prestige Gold colors.
In terms of the warranty, the Huawei P9 customers can enjoy a two years of warranty with 3 months replacement and display damage protection.
