Just a couple of months back Vivo launched their selfie focused smartphone in India. The company is back with yet another device that has upped their level with much better cameras on the front. Vivo V5 Plus is launched in India with dual front facing cameras. Woah! We are yet to see dual camera setup on the rear in many of the devices, but Vivo has launched the revolutionary device in India.
Vivo is focusing on a niche market that is targeted at young generation. Selfie obsession is a new fever found in latest generation and thus companies have started focusing on it. The only other company that is fighting with Vivo in this arena is Oppo. While Vivo and Oppo are wholly owned by BBK, both of them are fighting hard in selfie-focused smartphones.

Well, unlike the way we talk about specifications of any other phone, let’s talk about the highlight of Vivo V5 Plus.
This phone comes with a dual front camera setup. There is a 20-megapixel camera with the Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, and a 5P lens system. The secondary lens is of 8-megapixel camera that’s meant to capture depth-of-field information. There is also a moonlight LED flash for taking selfies during low-light. On the rear, we have a 16-megapixel shooter with LED flash.
In terms of the other hardware, the Vivo V5 Plus comes with 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC. sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It packs a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with expandable storage via microSD card. There is a 3055mAh battery compared to 3160mAh that launched globally.
In terms of connectivity, Vivo V5 Plus offers support for Dual SIM cards, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS connectivity options. The device runs on company’s own Funtouch OS 3.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The selfie-focused smartphone, Vivo V5 Plus is priced at Rs. 27,980 and will go up for pre-orders from January 24. The device will be available to buy via both online and offline retailers from February 1.
